The Political Sociology Research Network is a network of the European Sociological Association (ESA). We organise conference panels both at the main ESA conference (the next will be in Geneva in September 2011) and at interim conferences (the last one was in Lille in 2010).

 

'Extremism and Democracy' is an ECPR standing group which organises conference panels and discusses publications on issues such as populism and right wing extremism.

 

The Research Unit on Civil Society is a research group of colleagues at the University of Leicester and other universities of the East Midlands interested in the study of civil society and its service delivery and advocacy functions.
